International office along with CEED (Centre for Career Empowerment & Entrepreneurship Development) delve into the possibility of bridging the gap in skill and manpower with Techno Smile India Pvt. Ltd. The Japanese delegation had a discussion with the leadership team from KCT and interacted with engineering students about the prospects of learning Japanese language and working opportunities in Japan.

Choose France Tour 2022 – French Institutions Fair, March 2022
Choose France Tour 2022 – an international educational fair with 11 French Universities and 3 French Companies was hosted at Kumaraguru Campus on 19th March 2022. The session was addressed by Monsieur Bruno Nguyen – Deputy Consul General, Francois-Xavier MORTREUIL – Attaché for Sciences and Higher Education, Institut Français India along with Shri Shankar Vanavarayar – President Kumaraguru Institutions, Dr. Joseph V Thanikal – Director Kumaraguru College of Technology, Dr. Saravanan D – Principal, Kumaraguru College of Technology and Dr. Vijila Edwin Kennedy – Principal, Kumaraguru College of Liberal Arts and Science.
KIG hosted the French edu Expo in Partnership with Embassy of France, IFI (Institute Francais en Inde), Campus France, Alliance France, and Galaxy Educational Consultants.
Delegation from Japanese Consulate – Consul General Mr. Taga Masayuki, December 2021
Mr. Taga Masayuki, Consul General of Japan visited Kumaraguru Institutions on 9th December 2021 to explore the collaborative opportunities between India and Japan in the areas like Culture, Education and Research. Shri Shankar Vanavarayar, the President of Kumaraguru Institutions expressed the need for initiating the Youth Exchange Program (YEP) between Japan and India to strengthen the relationships between the countries.
During the discussion the Consul General highlighted the possible collaborations through JETRO to reach the industries of Japan and initiate research activities and suggested facilitations could be made through the Consulate for the Japanese Scientists working in the fields of Human science, Social science, and Political science, besides technology domains to visit the campus for interacting with the students of Kumaraguru Institutions and local industries.
