Department of Civil Engineering

Department of Civil Engineering is one of the earliest Engineering Departments started in Kumaraguru College of Technology. The department specializes in seven most sought-after domains of Civil Engineering which include Structural Engineering, Environmental and Water Resources, Construction Management, Geotechnology, Transportation, Geoinformatics, and Coastal Engineering. The faculty members have graduated from prestigious institutions such as IIT’s, NIT’s, and Anna University and have constantly been involving themselves in research and consultancy in addition to guiding graduates through innovative teaching learning practices. The department offers M.E programmes in Structural Engineering, Environmental Engineering and Construction Management.

About the Event

National Wide Search for Budding Minds, the national Project Competition is organized by Department of Civil Engineering Kumaraguru College of Technology Coimbatore, Tamilnadu, India in association with ACCE and Civil Engineering Alumni is scheduled on 24 March 2023. An event aimed to identify the bright minds and offer a transformative opportunity for the budding civil engineering aspirant. An excellent opportunity to showcase talent, untapped potential and a platform to present projects eventually motivating the future engineering graduates to take up more challenges.

The event is open to Students pursuing Undergraduate and Postgraduate degrees in Civil Engineering across various Institutes / Technical Universities in India to showcase their innovations in diverse domains of Civil Engineering.
