Dr. M. Bharathi is enthusiastic and sincere teaching professional who strives to achieve excellence in her professional life. She enjoys facilitating students to excel in their academics. Her doctoral thesis on “Performance Estimation of DSL using Single Ended Loop Testing” at Visveswaraya Technological University in the year 2014 led to an Indian patent. Having 21 years of teaching experience, she has published 50+ research articles in International journals and Conferences. Her areas of research interest include Signal Processing, communication, and Machine Learning. Listening to music, travel and cooking are her favourite free time activities.

Dr. A. Vasuki, Professor, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, completed B.E in Electronics and Communication Engineering from PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore, in 1989. She has a postgraduate degree M.E Applied Electronics from Coimbatore Institute of Technology, Coimbatore, in 1991. She has done her Ph.D. in Image Compression from PSG College of Technology under Anna University Chennai in 2010. She has more than 32 years of teaching, research, and academic administration experience. Her research interests are Signal Processing, Image Processing, Communications and Optimization. She has published 1 Book, 3 Book Chapters, 40 National and International Journal papers and 60 National and International Conference papers. She has guided over 30 PG projects and 50 UG projects. She is an approved Research Supervisor under Anna University Chennai. She is currently the Associate Dean – Directorate of Academics, at Kumaraguru College of Technology, Coimbatore.

I strive to work in an environment that exposes me to a varied spectrum of situations to enhance my skills intellectually, learn, share and teach.

Dr. K. Kavitha, professor of, Department of ECE, Kumaraguru College of Technology, has received her Bachelor of Engineering (BE), in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering in 1996 from the Institute of Road and Transport Technology, Erode. And Mater of Engineering (ME), in the field of Communication Systems during 2003 from the PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore. She obtained Ph.D degree in the field of Information and Communication from Anna University, Chennai, during Jan 2016. She has 23 years of academic and research experience. She is a member of professional bodies IEEE, ISTE and HAM license holder. Her research interests include signal processing, communication systems, wireless communication, MIMO, OFDM, wireless networks. She has published 3 book chapters, 50 papers in National/International conferences and 20 papers in the International/ National Journals. She has received funding from DRDO and AICTE under RPS schemes.

Dr. A. Amsaveni always tries to achieve perfection in the work, self-motivated and dedicated faculty with commitment and sincerity in work. she obtained her Ph.D. degree in Information Security from Anna University, Chennai in the year 2016. Around 22 years of experience in academics, she motivates students to excel in their careers. She organized conferences, FDPs, workshops, and seminars to enhance the technical competency of Faculty and Students. Her areas of research interests include Information security, Antennas, IoT and Signal/Image Processing. She is an active reviewer for Wireless Personal Communication and Applied Computational Electromagnetics Society. She likes playing badminton and listening to music.

Dr. S. Umamaheswari is an Associate professor in Electronics and Communication Engineering Department. She received a graduate from Bharathiyar University and a Master’s education in Anna University, Chennai. She has earned her Ph.D. under the guidance of Dr.Mahalakshmi.R from Anna university. She has around 23 years of collegiate teaching experience. She has published 18 research articles and 28 conference proceedings.
Her research vision is to understand the performance of Wireless Sensor Network by including attackers into the network. She also presented her research work outside India in a International Conference. She has vast experience in undergraduate teaching, Postgraduate teaching and training programs. She is actively involved in organizing and managing conferences – CITEL and ISTEM are some of the examples. She has also completed a course “ Diploma in computer technology” from APTECH. She has experience of various National level trainings.

Teaching is her passion and that is why it is a joyous process to learn from her. She is a confident, optimistic and self-disciplined woman. She is committed to the cause and always strives for perfection.

• Dr. S. Sasikala, Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, completed her B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Bharathidasan University in 1998, followed by an M.Tech in Biomedical Engineering from IIT Madras in 2005. She earned her Ph.D. in Information and Communication Engineering from Anna University, Chennai, in 2018. With over 26 years of teaching and research experience, her expertise spans Signal Processing, Image Processing, Machine Learning, and Biomedical Applications. She has published over 32 research papers in international journals, authored five book chapters, and presented more than 75 papers at national and international conferences. Additionally, she has guided over 20+ PG and 40+ UG projects and serves as an approved Research Supervisor under Anna University, Chennai.
• An active member of IEEE, ISTE, and IEI, Dr. Sasikala has secured research funding, including grants from AICTE under the AICTE IDEA Lab scheme. She has organized a variety of academic events, including CITEL 2008, a National Level Conference, and ICAECA – 2021 & 2023, International Conferences technically co-sponsored by IEEE, with proceedings published in IEEE Xplore and indexed in Scopus. She has also conducted 10+ FDPs, 20+ workshops, 10+ hands-on training sessions, 2 IEEE-funded seasonal schools, and 2 IEEE-funded hackathons under the IEEE Madras Section. Additionally, she organized the AICTE-ISTE Refresher Programme on “Intelligent Decision Support Systems Using Machine Learning Techniques” in February 2022, fully funded by AICTE.
• As an IEEE volunteer, she served as the Primary Coordinator for the Preliminary Round Project Competition for School Students as part of the 2019 Junior Einstein Track of IEEE-YESIST12. She has successfully organized IEEE Region-10 Educational Activity-funded events, including the Hackathon on RF Signal and Antenna Design and the Workshop on Artificial Intelligence for All (2022). She is committed to STEM education for school students, conducting practical learning sessions with ATAL Tinkering Lab facilities, IEEE volunteers, and undergraduate students.
• She has organized three All India Seminars—“Artificial Intelligence: An Application Perspective” (2019), “Recent Trends and Research Issues in Image Processing” (2022), and “The Impact of Quantum Computing on Society and the Economy: Unlocking New Possibilities” (2023)—along with two One-Day Seminars—“Recent Trends in Antenna Design Using CAD Tools” (2020) and “Challenges and Research Issues in Signal Processing for Communication and Networking” (2022)—and one workshop, “Current Research Challenges in Speech Signal Processing and its Applications” (2018). Additionally, she has conducted 10+ Monthly Lecture Meetings with financial sponsorship from the Institution of Engineers (India) (IEI). She has also successfully organized three consecutive editions of the World Telecommunication and Information Society Day (WTISD) celebrations at the IEI Coimbatore Local Centre in 2021, 2022, and 2023, based on the themes “Accelerating Digital Transformation in Challenging Times,” “Digital Technologies for Older Persons and Healthy Ageing,” and “Empowering the Least Developed Countries through Information and Communication Technologies.”
• Dr. Sasikala has received several research grants, including TNSCST Student Project Fund (2016-2017), an IEI Research Grant (2020), and IEEE Student Project Funds (2021 & 2024). She has led multiple IEEE-funded humanitarian and technology projects, such as the IEEE HAC/HTB SIGHT-funded initiative on Bridging Digital Inequalities Amongst Urban and Rural School Students (2022 & 2023) and the IEEE SPS/HAC-funded project on an Intelligent System for Providing Natural Farming Solutions (2022). She has also executed projects like the IEEE EPICS-funded Smart E-TRIKE for Disabled Students (2022-2023) and currently oversees two IEEE/HTB Tech4Good projects—”Empowering & Electrifying Rural Schools in Tamil Nadu with Photovoltaic Systems” and “Sustainable Classrooms for Future Generations”—along with the IEEE SPS/Tech4Good project on AI-Assisted Drone Systems for Disease Detection and Pest Control (2024).
• Her significant contributions to professional activities have earned her several prestigious awards and recognitions. She received the Best Faculty Advisor – IEI Award from IE(I) Hosur Local Centre & All Student’s Committee (2021) and the Outstanding Engineer 2023 Award from the Institution of Engineers (India) on the 56th Engineers Day (2023). Her long-term service and dedication were acknowledged with the Certificate of Excellence (Decennial Award) for over 10 years of service by KCT (2016-17) and the Service Recognition Award for more than 15 years by KCT (2022-2023). She has been honored multiple times by Kumaraguru College of Technology (KCT), receiving the Best Faculty: Professional Development Award (2019, 2021, 2022), Best Faculty: Domain Expertise Award (2019), Best Faculty: Student Development Award (2022), and Institutional Excellence Award (2023). She was also awarded research grants, including the IEEE Student Project Fund (2021) and the IEI Research Grant for a Student Project (2020).
• She has served as an IEEE HTB Education Committee Member (2024) and is currently a Committee Member of the Institution of Engineers (India) (IEI), Coimbatore Local Centre (2023–2025).
• She is currently serving as the Coordinator of the AICTE IDEA Lab and the TANSAM Innovation Centre, as well as the Counsellor of the IEEE Student Branch at Kumaraguru College of Technology, Coimbatore. Additionally, she holds the positions of Advisor for the Computer Society of the IEEE Student Branch and the Institution of Engineers (India) Student Chapter.

Alagumeenaakshi M received her Ph.D. in Information and Communication Engineering from Anna University, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India in 2015. Prior to that she obtained her M.E. degree in Applied Electronics from Government College of Technology, Coimbatore and B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai in 2005 and 1996 respectively. She has done her a Research with the facilities associated with IISc, Bangalore in Wireless Sensor Networks from 2010-12. She has a total academic experience of 20 years in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering. Currently, she is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electronica and Communication Engineering (ECE) at Kumaraguru College of Technology, Coimbatore. Before joining KCT, she was a faculty in the Department of ECE in JJ College of Engineering and Technology, Tiruchirapalli.

Her research interests include Wireless Sensor Networks, Wireless Communication, Network Security, Image Processing and Signal Processing, Machine Learning, RF and Electromagnetic fields. She has worked in developing standardized Routing algorithms and its security for 6LoWPAN LLN networks, Development of Intrusion Detection System for various attacks in Wireless Sensor Networks. She has published papers in 5 scopus indexed/WoS publications in International Journals and has published more than 33 Research and Technical papers in International/National Conference Proceedings and has been awarded the best paper award in many Conferences including several articles published in IEEEXPLORE Digital Library.

She has guided more than 50 UG/PG students in Wireless Sensor Networks, Wireless Communication, Internet of Things (IoT), Environment and Home monitoring and automation. Also, she has supported them in developing prototype models for various applications such as agriculture, Industry and home automation, flexible electronics.

She has organized two National Level Conferences and five National Level Workshops to enlighten the academic fraternity. She was a Chair in various International and National Conferences. As an active volunteer in IEEE she has involved herself as a Chair in Junior Einstein Track in IEEE YESIST12 since 2017. Also, as IEEE WIE Execom. member in IEEE Madras Section for the two years 2017-19. She has organized many events for school students to enhance their STEM concepts through practical learning experience using working models with the support IEEE volunteers and Undergraduate students. Under IEEE grant titled “Smart Agriculture for Sustainable Food Production” as a team she has involved in developing a website and a mobile application to help farmers of Coimbatore District to create awareness on Technology Supported Farming. She has been organizing a series of awareness workshops for the farmers to enable them to utilize the modern technology and enhance their livelihood. Also, she has worked for the GAJA – Cyclone Post-Relief activity for the farmers in Pattukkotai area. She has involved herself in the social activities and a trainer in the Clean Toilet Organization. She has trained many to be the evaluator to maintain clean and hygiene in public toilet facilities

Dr. Gopinath Balasubramanian completed his undergraduate and postgraduate in electrical engineering at the University of Madras in 1999 and 2001 respectively. He completed his doctoral research degree in the Biomedical image processing domain in the year of 2013. He published 32 research papers in International and national journals and conferences. His research area includes pattern recognition, biomedical image processing, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. He is a life member of ISTE. He has 19 years of teaching experience in various engineering institutions in Tamilnadu and Andhra Pradesh. He is servicing as an Associate Professor in the Electronics and Communication Engineering department of Kumaraguru College of Technology, Coimbatore, Tamilnadu, India. He is acting as a reviewer for the indexed journals such as Australasian Physical & Engineering Sciences in Medicine, Springer Publication, Medical, and Biological Engineering & Computing, Springer Publication, Computer Methods and Programs in Biomedicine, Elsevier Publication, BioMedical Engineering OnLine, Indian Journal of Science and Technology and The Imaging Science Journal.

Dr. S. N. Shivappriya is a highly innovative and hard working in finding solutions for the complex real work problems. As a facilitator, she also motivated the students to build their carrier in their interested area. She had received her B.E (ECE) degree from Periyar University in 2004. She had obtained her M.E (Communication System) degree from Anna University Chennai in 2006. She had completed her Ph.D., in Bio-Medical signal processing from Anna university Chennai in 2015. She has 14 years of teaching experience at college level. Currently she is working as Associate Professor in Department of ECE at Kumaraguru College of Technology, Coimbatore. Her area of interests includes signal Processing, Image Processing, Soft computing, Embedded and Communication systems. She is an active member in IEEE, IEI. She has 20 Publications in International & National Journals, 4 Book Chapter publications, 50 International and National conference publications. She has delivered 13 guest lectures. She has received various grants from CSIR, IEI, IEEE, TNSCST and Industry.

Dr.K.Nandeesh Kumar , Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering at Kumaraguru College of Technology, India. He received his Ph.D from the University of Rome -Torvergata for his thesis on Battery Management Systems for electric Vehicles. His entire Ph.D was funded by an Italian electric Vehicle company “Lintes”. He received his Master’s degree in the year 2011 from the National University of Jeju – South Korea. His Master’s degree thesis was on Short Range UWB RADAR for Cars. He has done his Bachelor’s degree from Bannari Amman Institute of Technology in the year 2008 from the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering. His recent research focus is on predicting battery life of a electric Vehicle through Machine Learning and Deep Learning Algorithms

Dr. K. Thilagavathi, a dedicated and disciplined faculty working towards the development of successful graduates and the growth of the organization. She completed her Ph.D degree in Hyperspectral Remote Sensing from Anna University, Chennai in the year 2020. A committed faculty member, with 18 years of experience driven to inspire students to pursue academic and personal excellence. Her research interests include remote sensing, communication systems and microwaves. She organized and attended a greater number of Workshops, Seminars and Short-Term courses. She is a life member in ISTE chapter.

Dr.K.Gavaskar is a researcher in the field of analog and digital VLSI circuits and systems and is currently working as an Assistant Professor III in the department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Kumaraguru College of Technology, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. He received his B.E. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering in 2011 and his M.E. degree in VLSI Design in 2013, both under Anna University, and he obtained his Ph.D. degree at Anna University for his thesis entitled “Investigations on Low-Power VLSI Memory Cells and Array Structures” in 2020. He completed his post-doctoral research at Novel Computing Technologies (ZITI), Heidelberg University, Heidelberg, Germany, in 2024. He is an approved research supervisor at Anna University in Chennai. He has published 65+ research articles in reputed journals and conferences. He has received funding grants from MHRD, MeitY and Industry. He is an active member of IETE and IEEE. His expertise extends to serving as a reviewer for esteemed journal publishers like IEEE, Springer, Elsevier, Wiley, Taylor & Francis, etc. His hobbies are playing sports, farming, and listening to music.

Prof. R. DHIVYA PRABA is working as an Assistant Professor and has 11 years of academic experience at KCT. She completed her M.E degree in 2009 from Government College of Technology, Coimbatore. She is a recipient of Gold medal for her M.E., Degree and currently pursuing Ph.D. (Part-Time) from Kumaraguru College of Technology under Anna University, Chennai.

Her area of Research includes Machine learning, Signal and Image Processing. She started her career as lecturer in the year 2006 at SSM College of Engineering. She hold various academic responsibilities like Class advisor, Lab in charge, DAB coordinator, Innovation and best practices coordinator, Anna university affiliation and autonomous In-charge, Time table coordinator etc., She has received management funded project for “Wireless Smart Apparels for Anti-fatigue and Rehabilitation” in the academic year 2016-17.

She has organized National conference, Faculty Development Programme, various Workshops and IEEE Junior Einstein Project competition for school students. She published 9 National and International Journals, one book chapters, 9 International and National Conference Research papers.

Ms. A. Kalaiselvi is a sincere, dedicated, and resourceful professional educator with a strong commitment to the professional growth and personal development of the students. She has completed around 9 courses in Coursera and 7 courses in NPTEL for enriching her domain knowledge. She is an ardent researcher in the area of Networks and Metamaterial based Antennas. Dr. D. Allin Joe is associated with Kumaraguru College of Technology since July 2013. He is a committed researcher who motivates students. He is a good learner and completed various NPTEL courses with an ELITE certificate. He secured a grade C in Business English Certificate Vantage by the University of Cambridge. He is an Amateur Wireless Station License holder. He organized conferences, workshops, outreach, and career awareness programs for the welfare of his students. He received appreciation from Texas Instruments for fostering an ecosystem bridging government, industry, and academia. He acts as Faculty Facilitator of KCT Drama troupe and KCT Haasya club.

Dr. K. Karthika is a dedicated professional with 5 years of teaching experience. She is currently pursuing her doctorate in Antenna Designs and has published various research articles in reputed journals. Apart from imparting technical skills, she believes in mentoring students in pursuit of their ambitions and takes great pride in shaping future minds. She has spearheaded various student workshops and is a beloved faculty among students because of her ever-cheerful attitude.

• Dr. Arun Kumar S is a passionate educator and a dedicated researcher, currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Kumaraguru College of Technology, Coimbatore. He holds a Ph.D. in Signal Processing and Machine Learning from Anna University, Chennai. He earned his master’s degree in Communication Engineering and Signal Processing from Amrita University, Coimbatore, with an MHRD GATE Fellowship, securing the University third rank. He completed his bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Kumaraguru College of Technology, Coimbatore graduating with a Gold Medal. Before entering academia, he worked as a Software Engineer at Mindtree Limited, Chennai, gaining 1.5 years of industry experience.
• With over 10 years of experience, he specialises in Signal Processing, Biomedical Systems, Machine Learning and Communication Systems. He has published around 60 technical papers in international, peer-reviewed, Scopus/SCI indexed journals, conferences and book chapters. His expertise extends to serving as a reviewer for renowned journals under IEEE, Elsevier, Wiley, and Springer Publishers.
• He is an active member of IE (I) and the IEEE Professional Society and serves as the IEEE APS Society Chapter Advisor of the KCT Student Branch. Dr.V.P.Ajay holds a Doctoral Degree for his research in Cognitive Radios and Decision-Making Models (2023), Master’s Degree in Communication Systems from Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore (2010 – 2012), and Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from DMI College of Engineering, Chennai (2004 – 2008).

With over 12 years of teaching experience and more than 2 years of industrial experience, he specializes in Software Defined Radios, Medical Electronics, Embedded Systems, Mini Processors, Internet of Things, IP rated product systems, Virtual Instrumentation, Sensor development and Payment automated systems. He possesses additional skills in mechanical design that enhance his capabilities in in-house product design cycles. He has a significant background in research, demonstrated by his extensive writing of research articles. In addition to his academic contributions, he serves as a reviewer and co-editor for numerous international journals. As a committed researcher specializing in Silicon Photonics and Photonic Integrated Circuits, I focus on enhancing low-cost polymer materials compatible with CMOS fabrication, PhD from VIT Chennai. His extensive background includes serving as an Assistant Professor at School of Electronics Engineering, VIT, Chennai and Panimalar Institute of Technology, Chennai. I have contributed to over 7 international journals, and have showcased my work at prestigious international conferences.

Ms. K. Jasmine has 13 years of teaching experience in reputed engineering colleges. She obtained her B.E degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from C.S.I.Institute of Technology, Thovalai, Nagercoil in the year 2004 and her master’s degree in Communication Systems from Anna University, Coimbatore in 2010. Currently doing her research in the field of Signal Processing for Wireless Communication from Anna University. She has published more papers in International Journals and Conferences. Ms. Jaspar Vinitha is a student-centered assistant professor II working in Kumaraguru College of Technology since 13.06.2016. She completed her B.Tech ECE in 2014 and M.Tech VLSI design in 2016 from Karunya University. She is an inspiring teacher motivating students via an optimistic approach. She excels in every responsibility given in professional teaching, administration, and research by working as a team or individual
She has published 4 journals and 2 conference proceedings. She is also a hard worker, self-motivating, and dedicated to her work. Being a good learner as well as a teacher, she is also abreast of creative writing & painting. She follows an ethic that the only person you should try to be better than is the person you were yesterday.

Mr. Boopathy S is working as an Assistant professor II at Kumaraguru College of Technology, Coimbatore. Currently, he is pursuing Ph.D. -part-time mode in Anna University in the area of data analytics in agriculture. He has completed his Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Bannari Amman Institute of Technology with Distinction. Dr. D. Gracia received her B.Tech degree with first class with distinction in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, Coimbatore in the year 2013 and has been awarded a Masters degree with first class in VLSI Design from the SSN College of Engineering, Anna University, Chennai in the year 2015.
She completed her Doctorate in Electronics and Communication Engineering in Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, Coimbatore under Visvesvaraya PhD scheme for Electronics and IT, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Govt. of India from 2016-2020.

She has 10 Scopus and SCI-indexed with the total of 11 publications and 2 book articles with 91 Citations, h-index factor of 5 and i10-index of 2. She has presented 5 papers in National Conferences. She has attended 15 workshops on Semiconductor device modelling, VLSI Design and Embedded systems design. Dr. S. Ramkumar is a highly accomplished professional with a Ph.D. from NIT Puducherry and a Master’s Degree in Applied Electronics from the College of Engineering Guindy, Anna University Chennai. His undergraduate studies in Electronics and Communication Engineering were completed at the University College of Engineering Villupuram. He also holds an M.A. in Yoga for Human Excellence from Tamil University Thanjavur, adding a holistic perspective to his professional journey. With nearly 8 years of experience, Dr. Ramkumar has excelled in teaching at prestigious institutions, including NIT Puducherry. He has also contributed significantly as a research scientist at SAMEER, MEITY, Government of India. Notably, he played a vital role in a DRDO project focused on developing a secure two-way communication system for defense applications and a Control Console for Non-destructive testing of industrial RF LINAC systems.

Dr. Ramkumar’s research interests include Reconfigurable filters, Antennas, RF Energy harvesting, Notched filter, UWB Filter, and EEG signal processing.

Dr. Vignesh Raja S is a young and passionate researcher in the field of nonlinear fiber optics, with a strong publication record in reputed international journals in physics and engineering. He worked as a postdoctoral researcher for two years at Pondicherry University under the National Postdoctoral Fellowship (NPDF) scheme offered by the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Government of India. He obtained his Ph.D. and master degree from the College of Engineering Guindy, Anna University, Chennai. His areas of interest are linear and nonlinear fiber optics. His research aims on the development of short-haul in-fiber optical components with the aid of fiber Bragg gratings.
